What an AI indicator actually measures
Turnitin's indicator predicts which segments may have been written or modified by an AI tool. It is a statistical guess about patterns in the prose, not a record of what you typed or where it came from.
24/7 WhatsApp support for BTEC, HNC and HND learners
Opened your feedback and found an AI flag on work you sweated over? Or used ChatGPT more than you should have and now feel sick about it? Our AI content review is the honest version of what people search for as an “AI removal service”. A tutor reads the flagged passages, explains why they sound machine-made, and coaches you to rewrite them yourself, with drafts and notes ready to show your assessor.

Why work gets flagged
An AI flag feels like an accusation. It is actually a prompt for a conversation. Knowing how detectors and assessors really work takes some of the panic out of it.
Turnitin's indicator predicts which segments may have been written or modified by an AI tool. It is a statistical guess about patterns in the prose, not a record of what you typed or where it came from.
Turnitin says false positives are more likely at low scores and in short or non-prose text, and that the score should never be the only basis for action. Formal, tidy, template-like coursework sometimes fits that description even when every word is yours.
JCQ lists clues such as a sudden change from your usual style, American spelling, vocabulary far above or below the level, generic content with no local detail, and references that cannot be traced.
The JCQ AI guidance, effective from 30 April 2025, describes detection tools as one useful part of the evidence within a holistic approach, alongside knowledge of the learner, earlier drafts and discussion.
Turnitin's AI report is not visible to students by default, though your tutor may share it. If not, ask politely which passages concern them.
Evidence that the work grew over time: notes, plans, rough drafts, saved versions, the sources you read and your ability to talk about it. That trail matters more than any score.
Detectors change their models, centres use different tools and Turnitin now also flags text that has been through AI paraphrasing software. Anyone selling a guaranteed figure is selling a gamble with your qualification. Our work is feedback and coaching on your own writing, nothing else.

Get my passage notesWho we help
Learners come to us from three very different places. The support changes depending on which one is yours, so be honest with us about it.
You wrote it and the report says otherwise. We read the flagged sections, spot what may have triggered concern, help you add your own examples and reasoning, and build a calm evidence folder for the meeting.
You used an AI tool for whole paragraphs and did not record it. The fix is not cosmetic editing. We coach you to rebuild the argument from your own notes and to acknowledge any permitted use the way JCQ asks.
Nothing has been flagged, but you used grammar tools heavily or your style changed between sections. A pre-submission read catches robotic phrasing, missing citations and claims you cannot back up.
Your assessor wants a short discussion about the work. We run a practice session with the questions assessors tend to ask: why you chose a source, what a term means, how you reached a conclusion.
If your centre has already made a decision, we help you understand the feedback and plan any resubmission or retake allowed under its policy, without cutting corners that could make things worse.
Sometimes the concern is really about quality or criteria coverage. In that case our criteria-by-criteria draft review may suit you better, and we will say so.

Not sure which of these describes you?
Say it plainly A photo of the brief is enough. A tutor breaks the tasks into plain English and confirms a fixed price, and the team is online 24/7.
How it works
The aim is a piece of work you can stand behind in any conversation. That means the rewriting is done by you, with a tutor beside you rather than in your place.
Your draft, the brief, any AI or similarity report you have been shown and the exact wording of your tutor's comments.
Each highlighted or suspect section gets a comment: generic wording, missing personal reasoning, an untraceable claim, a style jump, or simply nothing wrong.
In written feedback rounds or a live call, you rebuild weak paragraphs from your own notes. You type every sentence.
We help you gather drafts, version history, reading notes and a short summary of how you built the work.
Most reviews come back within 48 hours, quicker for short drafts

What's included
Everything below is study support your centre would recognise as legitimate. Anything that hides the origin of text is not on offer.
Comments sit beside each sentence that reads as generic, padded or out of character, with a short reason and a question to prompt your own version.
We encourage the way you actually explain things: your examples, your placement or workplace, your opinion backed by evidence. That is what makes writing recognisably yours.
Each reference is traced to a real book, article or web page, checked against the claim and formatted. For a deeper audit, see our citation and referencing checks.
A checklist of plans, rough drafts, document version history, reading notes and any acknowledged AI prompts and outputs, organised so your assessor can follow the story of the work.
A short mock conversation about your work with notes on any shaky answers.
We do not rewrite your text for you to submit, run it through rewording software, add deliberate errors or promise any detector result. Those shortcuts risk malpractice findings.

Why not learn the habits that prevent flags next time?
Our step-by-step guide to writing a BTEC assignment shows how to plan, draft and keep evidence from the first day of a unit.
Before and after
This is an illustrative example based on common cases. Details are changed.
Amira wrote her essay on person-centred care over three weeks, then ran it through a grammar tool that reworded several sentences. Her tutor said two sections read unlike her earlier work and asked to talk.
Our reviewer found the flagged paragraphs were smooth but empty: no service user example, no link to her placement, and long sentences she would not normally write.
Working from her placement diary, she rewrote both sections with a real (anonymised) example and her own reasoning on dignity and choice, replaced the missing source with one she had read, and stopped using the rewording feature.
She brought her notes, version history and an earlier draft, and explained her choices clearly. Her assessor accepted the work as hers, and marked the revised essay.
A flag is easiest to answer when the work has a visible history. Keep your drafts, and make every paragraph carry something only you could have written.
Build the same kind of trail around your own draft
