Scenario
ComTech one of the small-business people you previously gave a presentation to and then completed research work for regarding social media has now asked you to develop a social media campaign to promote their business.

You need to:
Produce a plan for using social media to promote ComTech’s business, including a keyword strategy and consideration of search engine optimisation mechanisms. Areas which have been asked by ComTech to include are purpose and aims, identified target audience, keyword strategy, posting schedule, competitor analysis, goals, execute, implement and launch strategy, tracking and goal assessment.
Review the plan through a discussion with ComTech and refine and improve it following these discussions (next week!). ComTech are concerned to ensure that the target audience is accurate, and that keywords and content are fit for purpose. Update the plan as necessary.
Justify all planning decisions made and explain how the plan will be fit for purpose and meet ComTech’s business requirements.
Evaluate the finalised plan developed for ComTech discussing its benefits and disadvantages and considering any legal and ethical issues considerations of material to be posted.

ComTech have agreed your plan have asked you to set about establishing business related content, optimising this and other features as appropriate.
Your manager has also asked you to plan all activities, including meetings with ComTech You are also expected to keep a record of all work undertaken including:
The production of appropriate social media content including text, video and images, for ComTech in line with the requirements of your plan.
A demonstration of how you are encouraging audience interaction and sharing and how you are monitoring responses and comments through annotated visual evidence and explain if the data on social media usage is as expected.
A review of the social media usage and interaction data and an explanation of the causes of these results.
An assessment and explanation of how the content and format of the social media page enabled an improvement in search engine ranking.

Optimise the content, format and features of the social media page to fully meet the requirements of the plan.
To provide reasons for and evidence of any improvements following the optimisations you have implemented, ComTech have asked you to provide evidence of any analytical data before and after the optimisation of the page.
Once again your manager has requested that all work undertaken is recorded.
